Heart Broken Chapter 10-  True Love…

It was 8:00 A.M. and Steve woke up. He went to the kitchen and drank his milk. He left the house and went for a walk. He stopped in front of a restaurant; he remembered the day that he took Anna to that restaurant. He entered and made a reservation for two. He thought that maybe Lily would like to have dinner.
A few hours later he went to pick up Lily. They walked to the restaurant and when they sat down they started to talk. The restaurant was comfortable and nice; they ate at the light of a candle and by the sound of a guitar. It was very romantic. When they finished they went to the park.
“Here, this is for you” Steve handed his present to Lily.
“Thank you!” She unwrapped the present and when she saw that it was a swimming suit the smile on her face vanished.
“You didn’t like it…”
“No! I wanted a wedding dress! I love you for so many years! I WANT TO MARRY WITH YOU! I WANT TO DIE OLD WITH YOU! I WANT TO HAVE CHILDREN WITH YOU! AND INSTEAD OS ASKING ME TO MARRY AND GIVING ME A DIAMOND RING YOU GIVE ME A SWIMMING SUIT! I LOVE YOU! YOU BROKE MY HEART! I’M HEART BROKEN!”
“WELL, IF YOU WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH, I STILL LOVE ANNA; I ONLY LIKED YOU AS A FRIEND! I WOULD NEVER WANT TO MARRY WITH YOU”
Lily threw away the present and ran away, heart broken.
“Oh man! When will I learn? It’s the second time already!”
Steve went home and laid down on his bed. Before he closed his eyes and fell asleep he remembered the first time he saw Anna. She was 12 and she had hurt herself very much. Steve helped her and right when he picked her up, his heart pumped faster and it was love at first sight.
“I miss the old days… I miss Anna…”
Steve closed his eyes and fell asleep.
